The Light Cahill has covered pale evening hatches since the 1880s: cream body, wood-duck wings. When light-colored mayflies come off at dusk, this classic still gets it done.

When to Fish It

Late spring through summer, especially the last hour of light. Fish it to risers or prospect the tailouts on light tippet. It doubles as a fine sulphur and pale-dun imitation anywhere.
