I grew up with a fishing rod in my hand. Some of my earliest memories are standing next to my dad on the water, learning to cast, set a hook, and respect the fish we were after. Fishing wasn't just something we did — it was how we spent time together. That foundation shaped everything about who I am today.

As I got older, I found my way to fly fishing, and it changed everything. I fell in love with the technical side — reading water, matching hatches, understanding what fish actually want to eat. I started tying my own flies, testing them obsessively, and learning what actually works versus what just looks good in a fly shop. I'm based in the Mountain West, and these waters are where every Floating Feather fly gets tested before it makes it into the shop.

I started Floating Feather Supply for a simple reason: quality flies shouldn't cost a fortune. I was tired of seeing anglers overpay for flies that fell apart after one fish or buying cheap bulk packs that didn't fool anything.
