When to Fish Them

Spring through fall on lakes and ponds. Start with ice cream cones and pupae under an indicator just off the bottom. Move to gut bombs when fish are on bloodworms, scuds and pheasant tails along weed edges, and leeches, buggers, or damsels on a slow retrieve.
