Walt's Worm looks like nothing and everything: a simple hare's ear dubbing body that fish read as caddis larva, scud, sowbug, or cranefly. Pennsylvania's most productive guide fly, with a hot orange collar on ours.

When to Fish It

Year-round. It's the definition of a confidence searching nymph — fish it on a euro rig, under an indicator, or as a dropper anywhere trout live. Sizes 12–16 on light tippet.
